Consultations & treatments

Gynécologie générale & bilans annuels

La prévention et le suivi régulier sont essentiels à chaque étape de la vie gynécologique. Cette section couvre les consultations de routine, les bilans de santé féminins et la prise en charge des troubles fréquents.

This monitoring includes:
  • Annual gynecological examination: routine check-up, smear test, screenings.
  • Menstrual disorders, chronic pelvic pain, or suspected endometriosis
  • Screening and treatment of STIs (sexually transmitted infections).
  • Monitoring for unusual discharge, yeast infections or vaginal infections.
  • Treatment of hormonal and menstrual disorders.
  • Basic breast monitoring: clinical examination of the breasts, referral in case of abnormality.
  • Colposcopy in case of abnormal smear (performed in the office).
  • Initial diagnosis of pelvic floor disorders (prolapse, urinary incontinence).

Some examinations or treatments requiring specific technical facilities are carried out in a clinic or in a partner center, in coordination with your follow-up at the office (e.g. hysteroscopy, benign surgery, targeted biopsies…).

Pregnancy and obstetric monitoring

Because every pregnancy is unique, you will receive rigorous, gentle, and compassionate support at every stage of your pregnancy—whether it's your first, a pregnancy after age 35, or a high-risk pregnancy. Consultations utilize state-of-the-art imaging, including 4D ultrasounds, which allow for real-time visualization of fetal movements in three dimensions, ensuring both precise and reassuring monitoring.

This monitoring includes:
  • Regular and personalized prenatal consultations.
  • Pregnancy assessments and screening tests (prescriptions and interpretation of blood tests, serology, screening for Down syndrome).
  • High-quality ultrasounds performed on site.
  • Monitoring of high-risk pregnancies (hypertension, gestational diabetes, medical history, etc.).
  • Support for special situations such as twin pregnancies, breech presentations or premature births.
  • Listening and comprehensive support on the emotional, medical and practical aspects of pregnancy.
  • Cesarean delivery performed by Dr. Theodosiadis if this route is medically indicated, in the Geneva clinic of your choice.
  • Seamless coordination with trusted colleagues in the event of a natural (vaginal) delivery. This includes various birthing methods according to the patient's wishes, subject to medical safety conditions.

Examinations performed at a partner center if necessary:
  • Specialized ultrasound scans (morphological, Doppler).
  • Additional tests prescribed according to the follow-up.

Fertility & contraception

Whether your goal is to become a mother or to choose the contraception best suited to your lifestyle, we provide compassionate support every step of the way. This section covers fertility, contraception, and assisted reproductive technology (ART), with rigorous and personalized follow-up.

This monitoring includes:
  • Contraception advice: Help in choosing the contraceptive method best suited to your lifestyle (pill, patch, ring, hormonal or copper IUD, implant, etc.).
  • Insertion and removal of contraceptive devices: Insertion or removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs/coils) and contraceptive implants under specialist supervision.
  • Preconception assessment: Complete medical evaluation before pregnancy (hormonal analysis, menstrual cycle, medical history).
  • Fertility monitoring: Targeted examinations in case of difficulties conceiving, further assessments and referral to medically assisted reproduction if needed.
  • Follow-up of IVF carried out abroad: Local support before and after in vitro fertilization carried out outside Switzerland, in connection with your specialist teams.

Some examinations requiring specific techniques are carried out in a clinic or in a partner center, particularly in the case of in-depth investigations in the context of infertility.
